I injured my back when I was transferring an old lady from her wheelchair to her bed. she was usually a one person transfer, so I wasn't ready for her to just suddenly plummet to the ground. It always hurt on a regular basis until I took a pilates class from the U. I did pilates twice a week and one day I realized my back pain was gone! I continue with my pilates on a fairly reglar basis. and I kick it up a notch when I feel my back weakening and getting sore. Just a thought.
-another nurse I work with swears by pilates too.
-another one claims soma(a drug) is the best. I prefer to be drug free though. I think soma would knock me out. And lots of patients should count as operating heavy machinery! :)

I'm glad your back is feeling a little better today hun. Just keep working at making it better through back excercises, alignments, massages, and some physical therapy. It may never get back to what it use to be, but maybe through time, it will get to where it doesn't bother you so much.

Stop lights are a bummer when you're feeling full of energy.... Even if your computer auto-stops, the process of coming to a stop and starting again from a full stop always brings down your average.

Looks like you had a solid ride!
